Johnson’s presentation topic will be “Business Insurance for Creatives”. In this workshop he will cover what is insurance, why creatives need insurance, what types of insurance are relevant to artists and arts organizations, and will explore costs to help you determine how you can afford insurance, and go over how to get started getting the coverage that you need to thrive. The workshop is free, is open of the public, and will be held in 4th Floor Conference Room of the Chicago Cultural Center at 1:30 pm on Saturday March 12^th. The Cultural Center is located at 78 E. Washington St.

We will focus on providing property and casualty insurance to small businesses in technology fields including computer consulting, outsourced IT services, software and website development, telecom services, computer maintenance and repair and technology trade shows. Working with our insurance partners, we will offer both competitive rates and personalized service to these markets.

The Johnsonese Brokerage was founded in 2003 as a boutique, independent insurance agency focused on insuring organizations in the visual and performing arts. The agency has since grown to include clients such as graphics designers and equipment rental houses whose businesses offer a natural pathway to technology markets.
